As an Irish person with a keen interest in old castles and houses, I was thrilled to discover Narrow Water Castle. The cottage-style accommodation was a magical experience, transporting me back to the late 1890s with its authentic ambience and modern comforts. The attention to detail in the decoration and furniture, although not modern, perfectly complemented the historical setting. The cozy couch by the open fire was my favorite spot to relax and soak in the atmosphere. Special thanks to Romona, the perfect hostess, who intuitively catered to our needs. We will definitely be returning!
Recommend this hotel.

For our Easter weekend getaway, we were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation. the apartment was tastefully renovated, combining old-world charm with modern conveniences. the stunning views from the estate were breathtaking, and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens. One of the best aspects was the helpfulness of the staff, who promptly addressed any issues we had.
There were a couple of downsides. the bumpy driveway made for an uncomfortable entrance.

Driveway needs some improvement.

I absolutely loved the charming and nostalgic decoration throughout the hotel. It transported me back in time and made me feel like I was living in a different era. The general areas of the hotel were spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of seating for older guests. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with no steep stairs or difficult terrain to navigate.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff when it came to meeting the specific needs of senior guests. I understand that they were busy with their own responsibilities, but a little extra attention and consideration towards the older guests would have made the vacation even better.
